About Us

Shinto Farm is the teaching and training team comprised of Trish Helmer and Michelle Dinneen. Located within the complex of Cogi Farm in Pawling NY, we are able to offer our high quality services. Shinto Farm seeks to bring together the industry’s top equine professionals to provide an all-encompassing experience in one facility, within a welcoming atmosphere.

 

About Shinto Farm

Trish Helmer

Trish has built a reputation as an excellent clinician and instructor throughout the US. She is an accomplished rider and trainer of FEI levels. She brings over 40 years experience in many aspects of the equestrian world. She has a strong intuitive sense, and a firm belief in positive guidance.

Michelle Dinneen

Michelle is an FEI competitor and trainer, who has worked  with Trish for over 20 years. Her teaching compliments and balances Trish’s teaching, resulting in a well rounded program at Shinto Farm.

Mission

To achieve a harmonious and productive relationship between the horse and rider. To provide the best possible services encompassing all aspects of teaching and training,  along with top quality care and services for the horse.

FROM THE SOUTH

Take 684 North to the end, it turns into R122.
Travel North on R122 about 10 miles.
Turn right on South Quaker Hill Rd.
Take South Quaker Hill for approx 2 1/2 miles to stop sign.
Turn left on to Mizzentop Rd.
At next intersection, turn right on to Kirby Hill Rd.
Shinto at Cogi Farm is the second driveway on the left.

FROM THE NORTH

Take R22 South to Pawling.
Turn left on Quaker Hill Rd. (at McKeevers Restaurant)
Follow Quaker Hill Rd. to end.
Turn Right on to Mizzentop Rd.
Approx 1/2 mile turn left on to Kirby Hill Rd.
Shinto Farm at Cogi is the second driveway on the left.
